Don't worry too much about how the timer works for now. That's something for another unit. For now just make the following simple alterations to this little applet:

1. Draw one large sliced circle towards the right of the canvas area
2. Draw another large sliced circle towards the left of the canvas area
3. Draw a stack of four small sliced circles in the center of the canvas area
4. Maintain the size of the canvas area at 900x400
