USING A LOGO PIC AS AN HR

HR is an HTML tag. HR stands for Horizontal Rule. HRs are used as page separators or partitions. HRs don't work correctly under the current version of Netscape for Linux and so often images (JPGs or GIFs) are substituted in their place. That's exactly what you will do in this assignment.

That was one example. You will notice that it is a short fat image that functions spendidly to break up a page. Your job will be to make three interesting images which can function as HRs.

There goes another example.

And there is our last example. Your web page will look a lot like this one only you will write a short story or talk about your favorite sport or leisure time activity or whatever before, between, and after your HRs. You should get in the habit of inspecting the code for a web page. One way of doing this is to select PAGE SOURCE from the VIEW menu.

NOTE: Notice the use of the center tag!

ASSIGNMENT: Make three images in LOGO which can function as HRs and display them on a web page along with a lot of words (which fit together into one coherent story or essay or monolog). You may copy these HR images (only you will have to use different colors) or you can make originals (in which case they will have to sufficiently interesting).
