SUB and SUP
Math Equations
On this page there are examples of how to underline, change font size and
color, how to make greater than and less than signs, how to make subscript
and superscript, and how to begin new paragraphs. It will be up to you to
look at the source code and figure out how to produce these effects.
Your assignment is to create a document with four sections with their own
little section titles, plus a main title at the top of the page. Section one
is to show ten simple math problems with answers. Section two is to show ten
inequalities. Section three is to include ten exponents and show what they
equal. Finally, section four is to show ten examples of expanded notation. Only
one problem should appear per line (in other words they will be arranged in a
single column).
Use blue bars to separate the sections of your page.
Simple Math Problems: 5*5=25, 25/5=5, 40-32=8, 32+23=55.
(Use these symbols)
Inequalities: 5<6, 12>10, 55<100,
23>18
Exponents: 82=64, 24=16, 35=243
Expanded Notation: 2345=2*1000 + 3*100 + 4*10 + 5*1
Some uses for subscript:
Chemical Formulas: Hydrogen Peroxide = H2O2
Identification of Base Number Systems: 1112=710
Alternatively: 166dec=A6hex
