The problem with HTML is that you are limited in the characters you can display. You can get special extensions which cover the Greek alphabet, but you can't display them directly without such extensions. So, you must resort to using images to represent your Greek letters. This may not seem like any big deal to you since you may not feel that you are likely to ever NEED to use Greek letters on any of your web pages. BUT FOR THIS LESSON YOU WILL NEED TO DO THIS!!! Further, if you want to display information relevant to biology or chemistry there is a high probability that you will need to use Greek letters.

The first thing you will need to do is copy the images of Greek letters you need from this page onto your computer. Then you will just use them as needed. Consider this table:
