Vegetables

Cabbages are trully wonderful works of art.

There are very few things more beautiful than a full head of cabbage.

Not only are cabbages beautiful, they are also nutritious and delicious.

In this assignment you are going to collect pictures of 15 different vegetables.

You will display all your images so that they are the same size.

Along with each vegetable image you will present the name of that vegetable.

Make sure that your images are good representations of normal specimens of each vegetable.

Think of your page as something which might be used to teach young children to recognize the different vegetables.

You will create one image yourself. Instead of writing a title at the top of your page, you will create an attractive and fancy title using GIMP and display this image as your page title.

A good way to quickly find a lot of images is to go to Google and do an IMAGE search. That's how your instructor found so many pictures of cabbage. Actually his search yielded many dozen pictures and he chose just these examples from all those pictures.
