This unit is not like the previous units. Instead of studying the English language, we will take a look at another language that actually uses a different alphabet than the one you are most likely used to. Before proceeding read over all the pages listed here:

Your task in this lesson will be to learn to recognize the Russian words listed on this page. To help you learn the words you will be provided with a worksheet and then several activities.

You may want to print several copies of this worksheet so you can repeat the activity several times. The first time through you should copy each word from the list. After that you should try to recall the words, but use the list to help you when your memory fails. Repeat this until you can fill out the worksheet from memory.
