Adjectives and Nouns
As you will recall, nouns are words which names persons, places, or things.
Adjectives provide descriptive information about a noun. Here are some
adjectives and nouns:

green monster
strange donkey
greedy beaver
large house
wet sidewalk
cold day
good idea
Used in a sentence we can see better how adjectives and nouns can work
together. The adjectives are in bold and the nouns are underlined.
The green monster ate the delicious food.
I do not live in a large house.
She walked down the wet sidewalk on a cold day.
