Irregular Verbs
Here are some examples of normal verbs in their present and past tenses.
PRESENT PAST
jump jumped
yell yelled
lift lifted
play played
To change these verbs from present to past tense you just add -ed. Not all
verbs work like these. Some verbs are irregular (and the add -ed rule does
not apply to them). Here are a few examples:
