The oo Letter Pattern

This list contains several words with the oo letter pattern. The oo pattern can make two different sounds. Here are some words with the oo letter pattern. Notice that they are grouped according to the sound they make.

The list of words on the left make a short o sound and they rhyme with hook. The words on the right contain a double o sound that sounds like the vowel sound in rude, nude, or dude.
