Plural Nouns
A noun, as you know, is a word that names a person, place, or thing. A
plural noun names more than one person, place, or thing. Nouns which name
only one item are called singular.

crime crimes
fort forts
A lot of the time you can just add an "s" to the end of a noun to pluralize
it. These are the easiest nouns to pluralize. Here are a few more of these
easy to pluralize nouns:
